Bring OnlineSignature.com documents to Docracy
OnlineSignature.com is a front door to Xodo Sign (formerly eversign). Export from that signing account, then upload to Docracy — no password sharing with us.
If you started on OnlineSignature.com, the documents that matter usually live in the Xodo Sign / eversign account it funnels into once you send or track anything. This guide explains that relationship and the free PDF download path, then how Docracy takes over without requiring an account for short signing chains.
Why there's no "Connect your account" button
There is no separate OnlineSignature "connect your Docracy account" API — and we wouldn't ask for those passwords anyway. OnlineSignature.com is not an independent document store with a free bulk migration API; export happens in the Xodo Sign / eversign product behind it, under the same API/paid gates as eversign.
Exporting from OnlineSignature.com
- Sign in to the Xodo Sign / eversign account you use with OnlineSignature.com (often the same login you were pushed into when sending or tracking).
- Open Documents and find completed or draft files you still need.
- Download each document as a PDF.
- Upload the PDF to Docracy and continue with AI field detection + signers.
Same limits as eversign/Xodo: templates stay in their system; you get the PDF, then rebuild fields in Docracy.
What transfers (and what doesn't)
- PDFs you download from the underlying Xodo Sign / eversign account.
- Does not transfer: OnlineSignature.com landing-page settings, Xodo templates, or account-based tracking history.
Tips for OnlineSignature.com
- If you only ever "signed a PDF" once on the marketing site and never created a full account, you may only have local downloads — upload those directly to Docracy.

Once you have the PDF
Upload it to Docracy the same way you'd upload any file. Our AI field detection scans the page and suggests where signature, date, and text fields probably go — usually faster than placing them by hand, especially on a form you already know well.
Just sending it once?
Free, no account needed. Upload the PDF, review the auto-detected fields, add signers, and send.
Reusing it as a template?

Where your documents end up
Docracy isn't a long-term archive by design — completed documents and their audit trail are encrypted and automatically deleted after a short retention window (9 days by default), the same as everything else on the platform. If you're migrating documents over, you'll want them to land somewhere permanent, not just disappear again.
A paid account ($10/mo) can connect Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, or Google Drive — once linked, every completed document auto-uploads there the moment everyone's signed, so it lives in your own storage going forward. Zapier and webhooks cover any other destination (a CRM, a shared drive, an internal tool) if none of those four fit.
