The original Docracy.com — free legal document templates and e-signing — was acquired by eversign in 2019 and discontinued. This Docracy is a separate, independently built product with the same idea: free, no-signup e-signing.
A quick history
Docracy launched in New York around 2011 (Matt Hall and John Watkinson), starting as an open, free repository of legal document templates and growing to add e-signing — eventually reaching over 500,000 users and 25,000+ templates. In March 2019, eversign announced it had acquired Docracy. The standalone product was discontinued, and docracy.com now redirects visitors to eversign's own signup page.

No. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to eversign, Xodo Sign, or the original Docracy team. We're a separate, independently built product that simply liked the idea of free, no-signup e-signing enough to build it again.
